How to meet your new job

There are many books out there about how to survive a MBA program. Books giving advice about how to crack a job interview are a dime a dozen. However, none spend the time to take you through a MBA candidate’s thought process every step of the way.
The author does just that by laying out his true, raw emotions through every leg of his journey. His style is straightforward, engaging, and extremely insightful. As a reader, I felt like I was right there standing next to him, experiencing the roller coaster of struggles and triumphs in his job search.
While the strength of the book lies in the many relatable anecdotes and the emotional aspect, Kevin also provides many valuable frameworks on how to approach networking and what to consider in selecting the best job for yourself.
Even though this book is targeted toward MBA students or prospectives searching for off-campus jobs, I highly recommend this for any graduate student embarking on a job search, on-campus or off-campus. Get ready to step into Kevin’s shoes and learn from his experiences!

Great niche book for MBA job seeker

This book of anecdotes is great for the MBA finding post graduation work. Although some basic principles of job searching exist universally (network, research company, etc.), certain types are different. Although most reputable MBA programs have on-campus events, this book was good for understanding other options. I recommend for incoming, current or recently graduated MBAs seeking opportunities.
